• The Llansteffan (Llanstephan) area is quiet and welcoming but there can be plenty to do if you want to be a little more active.
  • The beach is within easy walking distance and there are golf courses just a short drive away.
  • Sea fishing, boating, horse riding and walking are all available nearby and, of course, the castle offers fine views across to The Gower peninsula.
  • The nearby village of Llanybri has the historic ruins of Hen Gapel (old Chapel).
  • Llansteffan (Llanstephan) is a short 15 minute drive from Carmarthen on the B4312 being situated about 9 miles south of the town on the peninsula between the Rivers Towy and Taf.
Scotts Bay Llansteffan
This beautiful view is just one of many that can be seen when you walk along the coast by Llansteffan. In addition the beaches boast some of the biggest cockle banks in Wales.The beach is approximately 500 yards from the Sticks Hotel.
Llansteffan Castle
Llansteffan Castle has a rich history and a tower with a spiral stairwell which you can climb if you are fit enough. Here you see part of the view from the castle back up the River Towy
